NEWS TOPIC: cancer Scientists try to trace the history of cancer development
Washington, July 17 (ANI): Weizmann Institute scientists have devised a way to reconstruct a cell's 'family tree', and applied the technique to trace the history of the development of cancer.
The researchers say that they have thus far calculated the age of the tumour, and characterized its growth pattern.
They believe that cell lineage studies of cancer may someday lead them to the root of cancer.
