Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have not tied the knot
Washington, Jun 16 (ANI): News that American actress Nicole Richie and her beau Joel Madden had tied the knot over the weekend, was a joke played by the Good Charlotte rocker.
It was revealed that Madden had posted an entry, with some doctored wedding pictures, on the band's blog with the statement, "We Did It! Nicole and I Finally Got Married!!"
The whole incident was totally fabricated, but it seemed to have convinced a lot of people, even family members and friends, thereby forcing Madden to explain himself.
