
'Gavin and Stacey' take top honours at Bafta television awards

London, April 21 (ANI): 'Gavin and Stacey', the sitcom about an Essex boy who falls in love with a girl from Wales, beat the likes of 'Strictly Come Dancing' and 'Britain's Got Talent' to win the only Bafta television award chosen by viewers.
The BBC 3 comedy saw off strong competition from other nominees including 'Cranford' and 'The Apprentice' to win the Sky+ Audience Award for programme of the year, reports BBC.
