A 13-year-old British boy committed suicide after being bullied over his love for Emo rock bands on social networking website, Bebo.

Sam Leeson became a victim of constant torture via cruel messages that mocked his long hair and dark clothes.

In fact, his tormentors even made fun of his liking Emo stars such as My Chemical Romance and their angst-ridden lyrics.

Months of anguish led this lad to opt for a death path and ultimately he was found hanged in his bedroom.

Sam's grief-stricken family has slammed Bebo, leading the police to launch a probe into his ordeal. In fact, his shattered mom Sally, 45, demanded immediate action to be taken against all such websites that allow bullies to harass other users.

"Sam was such a loving boy. He was into his appearance and often wore his black skinny jeans. If anything can come from this utterly pointless death of a lovely boy we want to try and help," The Sun quoted her, as saying.

However, the police has not yet identified if the bullies belonged to Sam's school or not.

And his distraught pals have paid floral tributes and left more than 100 messages on the gates. A number of them even wore black ties.

Peter Rowland, the head at Severn Vale School in Quedgeley, Gloucs, claimed that Sam was a "happy, smiley boy" who had never complained of bullying.

He said: "Staff and students are shocked and saddened. Sam was a popular student in Year 9. We are all working to make sense of this event."

However, despite all the slamming against it, Bebo refused to make any comment. (ANI)
