President Pratibha Patil visits ancient Mexican city of Teotihuacan

President Pratibha Patil on Friday visited the ancient Mexican city of Teotihuacan, which is the most visited archaeological sites in that country.

Patil visited the site along with her family and members of the Indian delegation. ll were fascinated with the maintenance of the pyramids and other national monuments in Teotihuacan, which is nearly 70 km from Mexico.

Devisingh Ramsingh Shekhawat, the husband of the President, told reporters, "There are many similarities between India and Mexico, but after seeing the maintenance of the historical building here, I think we have to learnt a lot form Mexico."

The President and her entourage stayed at the spot for nearly an hour. (ANI)
