A US man has been fired after requesting a prostitute as part of his reward for working for a hotel for a year.
Neil Jorgensen, 62, from Iowa, had been given a gift certificate and one night stay at the Riverside Casino and Golf Resort as thanks for his hard work.
After enjoying a meal and copious amounts of alcohol in the resort's restaurant, Jorgensen called hotel management and demanded a prostitute for the evening.
When his request was declined, he rang a neighbouring resort with the same request, and soon found himself fired.
He attempted to sue the firm for unemployment benefits, adding: "The advertisement is that it's just like Las Vegas, so I thought I was in Las Vegas. I was absolutely ploughed too."
