April 29 - that is the day the new Apple 'Tiger' operating system will hit the shelves in the shops.  Apple says that the new system has more than 200 new features and is the most secure desktop operating system ever created.

The system will also offer new mail, calendar program, font manager and the latest Quicktime media player.  Apple's CEO Steve Jobs said that Tiger's new Spotlight and Dashboard features will change the way people use their computer and have competitors tearing their hair out trying to keep up.
