The 'Musketeer' star had earlier turned down the role of Severus Snape in the movie. The role then went to actor Alan Rickman.
Roth insists he wants to get involved in 'Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince' or 'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows' because his three sons - Jack, Timothy and Cormac - are big Harry Potter fans.
The Reservoir Dogs star said that he had many other reasons for not accepting the offer before.
"I had various reasons for not doing it before but I'd probably do something like that if it were offered to me now. I've got three kids," Contactmusic quoted the 46-year-old actor, as saying. (ANI)
