Kirkuk, Mar 30, (VOI)- At least three civilians, including a woman, were wounded on Sunday as a roadside bomb targetig a police senior officer exploded in the northern Iraqi city of Kirkuk, a security source said.
“An explosive charge detonated, this morning, targeting a police senior officer near the Education Department office in central Kirkuk,” the source, who requested anonymity, told Aswat al-Iraq- Voices of Iraq-(VOI).
The source added “Colonel Abbas Abdella survived the attack unharmed, but three civilians, including a woman, were wounded in the explosion.”
Kirkuk is 250 km northeast of Baghdad.
