BBC Radio 2 bringing a Beckham 'Christmas' special    2007-12-01 06:03:01

London, December 1 : Ace footballer David Beckham will be replying to questions of BBC Radio 2 listeners during a special programme on Christmas Day.
Ace footballer David Beckham will be replying to questions of BBC Radio 2 listeners during a special programme on Christmas Day.

'David Beckham's Line of Enquiry' will be hosted by former 'The X Factor' presenter Kate Thornton.

"David signing up to do this is a real coup. We are delighted he has agreed to open himself up," the BBC quoted her as saying.

The show will be recorded shortly before Christmas, and listeners are being invited to submit questions for Beckham.

Postal, phone and online submissions will remain open until midnight on 7 December.

BBC Radio 2 is also inviting requests for songs which remind listeners of Beckham.

"I am merely the ref and, yes, I do know the offside rule!" Thornton said.

The show will be broadcast on the station on Christmas Day following the Queen's Christmas message. (ANI)
