The Netherlands' Crown Princess Maxima and Belgium's Princess Mathilde displayed their close friendship by wearing matching coats to a recent art exhibition.
The pair sported similar monochrome houndstooth coats to the opening of the show at The Hague's Gemeentemuseum on Tuesday (04.12.07).
Maxima wore her three-quarter-length coat over a classic black dress, while Mathilda - who is expecting her fourth child with Belgium's Prince Philippe - chose a larger, longer coat to conceal her ever-expanding bump.
The royals took their time looking round the exhibition, and laughed when they saw their own portraits on display.
One onlooker said: "Maxima and Mathilde were really enjoying each others company at the art show.
"They were laughing together and looked more like sisters than just friends."
This isn't the first time the pair have been spotted in matching or similar outfits, and one fan of the elegant women has even dedicated an entire website to following their fashion progressions.
