Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has been doting on her granddaughter during a Caribbean family holiday.

Camilla - who is married to Britain's Prince Charles - has been staying in a £600-a-night suite in Carlisle Bay, Antigua, with her son Tom Parker-Bowles, his wife Sara and the couple's five-month-old daughter Lola.

A source said: "Camilla is a very hands-on granny. She clearly dotes on Lola, though she doesn't seem to have changed any nappies as yet!"

The 60-year-old royal jetted out to the sun-drenched island with her ex-husband Andrew Parker-Bowles, where the pair were also joined by their daughter Laura, her husband Henry Lopes, and Andrew's new wife Rosemary.

During the break, Camilla - whose 21-year marriage to Andrew ended in divorce in 1995 - has also brushing up on her swimming skills.

The source added to Britain's Daily Mail newspaper: "Camilla is a very energetic swimmer, and she splashes along at sea almost a mile out. She does that twice a day but is always accompanied by a bodyguard who swims a couple of strokes behind her."

The duchess is expected to leave Antigua today, to accompany husband Charles on his Caribbean tour, starting in Trinidad tomorrow (04.03.08).
