Washington, Jan 15 : American actress Eva Longoria has laughed off rumours that she and hubby Tony Parker will soon be expecting their first child together.
American actress Eva Longoria has laughed off rumours that she and hubby Tony Parker will soon be expecting their first child together.
Eva, who is 32-years-old, insisted that the little bulge around her belly is the result of the home cooked food she eats and not because she is pregnant.
"No pregnancy, not yet," People quoted her, as saying during an interview for her new film, Over Her Dead Body, in Santa Monica.
"I've been cooking and eating, cooking and eating. I keep telling everyone that I've gained 10 pounds just being on strike."
The star, who now calls herself Eva Longoria-Parker, however instead of dispelling the pregnancy rumours caused people to speculate even more, when she arrived at the movie's press day wrapped in a pink baby blanket, worn over a short, billowing dress.
"I know - If this isn't going to spawn pregnancy rumours, I don't know..." the Desperate Housewives star laughed.
"I was freezing, so I had to run down to the gift shop, and they didn't have any wraps. I grabbed this and was like, 'It's so soft, but why is it so small?!' And they said, 'It's for a baby,'" she added.
Eva is married to basketball star Tony Parker, and even though she is not pregnant, she most definitely is willing to start a family.
"I mean, we're not really on a time clock, and going, 'Okay, this month, this day'. We're kind of just going, 'We're so happy if we get pregnant, and if we don't we're okay.' We're just letting God decide it," she said. (ANI)
