He says that veteran actor Michael Caine and critics' suggestion to award Ledger with an Oscar is nothing but Warner Brothers' scheme to publicize their film.
"Warner Brothers...(will) do anything to publicize their film," the New York Daily News quoted Gilliam as saying.
