Mumbai, June 11 : Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani launched a musical flick "Khushboo" here today.

Veteran Bollywood filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani launched a musical flick "Khushboo" here today.

Rajesh Ram Singh is the director of the film, which is introducing two newcomers in the Bollywood, Rishi Rehan and Aviantikka.

Filmmaker Pahlaj Nihalani has himself chosen the newcomers.

"I think it's a great concept. It's a love story and the story is such that the twist in the tale is beautiful. It's a story about two people how they meet and keep meeting and the kind of journey that they take and the kind of lesson that they learn from each other," said Aviantikka, the actress.

According to the debutant actor Rishi Rehan the audiences will be able to connect with the story of the film.

"Khushboo is a simple and real love story, which people can connect with the story, be it young or family audience they'll be able to connect with this film. Khushboo is all about how destiny plays an important role in bringing two completely different people together. There is family value, the depth of love in relationships in this film. So its all about depth of love and relationships and family values," said Rishi Rehan, actor.

The well-acclaimed Pakistani musician, lyricist and singer, Adnan Sami has composed the music of the film. Adnan Sami.

"It's (the music) a young kind of a picture about young and fresh love, it has also got a lot of romance, is very youthful so it's a lot of fun," said Adnan Sami, Music director and singer of Khushboo.

Nihalani said that the name of the film was selected after much discussion as the unique selling proposition these days in the films is its title.

"Nowadays, there is no meaning in the title, it only plays role in the mindset of the people. Khushboo could be the name of a character or it could mean fragrance of love as love has a wide angle to it. Here it is the fragrance of the first phase of love between two people which plays a positive role and at the end the boy starts believing in destiny," said Nihalani.

Besides the new comers, Khushboo also stars Ninad Kamat, Raj Babbar and Prem Chopra.

The film is slated for June 20 release. (ANI)
