Hollywood star Christian Bale will be seen in three more movies of the 'Terminator' franchise.

Victor Kubicek of Halcyon Company has revealed that the 38-year-old star would be seen playing John Connor in 'Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins' and would apparently be seen in two other sequels.

"Christian was our first choice and he's a big fan of The Terminator, so we're very lucky," Contactmusic quoted him as telling BBC.

"But with Batman he's already done the whole franchise thing, so we weren't sure he'd respond.

"He's really an actor's actor, so we're very proud," he added.

However, the plot of the fourth film has been largely kept under wraps, it is believed it could be the start of a three-picture exploration of the human battle for survival after much of the Earth has been obliterated by Skynet - the computer that controlled the machines - in a nuclear holocaust.

"We can't talk about the story points at all," said Kubicek

"Not everyone gets to see the script. They only see the part of the script that's relevant to the job they're doing," he added. (ANI)
