American singer Mariah Carey has confirmed that she is married to rapper Nick Cannon.
Speculation about a secret ceremony grew after Carey was spotted wearing a 1.25million-pound diamond ring.
People confirmed the news on May 8, and released an exclusive picture of the happy pair in their wedding gear, at the pop star's Bahamian estate, after the ceremony took place on April 30.
"We really do feel we are soul mates," The Sun quoted Carey, as telling People.
"I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me!" she added.
"She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside," 27-year-old Cannon added.
