She will soon be turning 40, but Mariah Carey has ruled out any possibility of having a kid, for she thinks that she cannot properly educate a kid at present.

In the British version of OK! Magazine, the singer told a reporter that she doesn't aspire to become a mother right now.

"It's hard to have kids in this world. I don't think I could properly educate a child right now. Maybe in the future, but I actually haven't thought about it," the New York Daily News quoted her, as saying.

In fact, she said that having children would leave her feeling "violated....I know that's a kind of weird thing to say, but that's how I am."

She added: "For now I enjoy my dog Jack's company. It's definitely because of childhood traumatic stuff. The whole not wanting to have a baby as a baby."

Currently Carey is in London to promote a new album, and has confessed spending a lot of time babying herself.

And of her extravagant demands at Claridge's, where she is staying in London, she said: "You gotta take care of yourself. You have to try and stay pretty, you know." (ANI)
