Janet Jackson will soon be receiving an award from the Gay + Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD).
The pop superstar will be honoured with the Vanguard Award by the organisation on its 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on 26 April (08).
The gong will be presented to the 41-year-old star by gay comedienne and TV personality Ellen DeGeneres.
The Nasty singer has expressed her gratitude to receive the honour and said that the award would certainly be memorable for her.
"I have received a number of awards throughout my career, but I am so proud to be receiving this from GLAAD. I thank them for this honour from the bottom of my heart," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. (ANI)
