X Factor winner Leona Lewis' hit 'Bleeding Love' is at the heart of a mega-money battle to turn it into a major movie theme.
A bunch of top Hollywood movie studios are putting mega-money offers on the table for some of Lewis's tracks to be used in upcoming releases, with 'Bleeding Love' leading the list.
US movie bosses want to turn it into the next 'I Will Always Love You', Whitney's 1992 hit from smash hit film The Bodyguard.
"A number of huge offers are on the table for Leona's songs. The bids for Bleeding Love are staggering. They're into seven figures," The Sun quoted a source as saying.
"The offers are for major blockbusters - some just around the corner. It could turn the song into the biggest hit this decade - like a new I Will Always Love You.
"It is unusual for a film company to spend a lot of money on a song unless it has been recorded specifically for the film.
"But, because the song is such a huge worldwide hit - and so perfect for a big movie - they are prepared to make an exception," the source added.
The song has topped charts around the globe, and last week made Leona the first British female solo artist to have a No1 single in the States since Kim Wilde 21 years ago.
