Dresses belonging to Paris Hilton, Kylie Minogue and Amy Winehouse were modelled for a charity auction yesterday (04.03.08).

The fashion show was held at London’s Sketch venue for breast cancer charity The Lavender Trust and to mark the release of romantic comedy '27 Dresses'.

Other stars who donated outfits include Mariah Carey, Renee Zellweger, '27 Dresses' star Katherine Heigl, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Thandie Newton.

All the garments - which feature designs by Dolce and Gabbana, Armani, Gucci and John Galliano - modelled in the show are now up for auction on website eBay.

Some of the gowns have particular sentimental value to the stars.

Amy Winehouse wore her black rouched mini-dress for her video-link to this year's Grammy Awards, where she picked up five prizes, while Spice Girl Geri Halliwell donned her Gucci number to host Breast Cancer Care's annual Fashion Show in 2006.

Geri said: "We know that us girls can never have too many dresses so I'm delighted to support the auction in aid of the Lavender Trust by donation one of my own personal Gucci favourites. It has fond and poignant memories for me."

The dresses will be auctioned off at three-day intervals at www.ebay.co.uk/27dresses until the release of '27 Dresses' on March 27.
