The actress was telling Banks how she and her fiance Cash Warren had started preparing for the birth of their first child, just before she was showered with the presents.
A gift stroller, bassinette, high chair, blankets and various other baby accessories appeared from behind a curtain on the set of the chat show, say reports.
"This is the best stuff... This is where I've been going online and going, `I want this, I want that,'" Contactmusic quoted Alba as saying on the show.
Alba had, recently, said that her marriage to Warren would not be a grand affair.
The 'Fantastic Four' star, who is in her fifth month of pregnancy, insisted that their wedding would be a very low-key affair, and might not even involve a formal ceremony. (ANI)
