Pedestrians are not jaywalking as some traffic lights are not working.
The green man is not there. The red man is there, but at the junction, traffic lights also signal red for vehicles to stop. Not surprisingly, pedestrians continue to walk, and no, they are not jaywalking.
The traffic lights for pedestrians spotted malfunctioning are along Upper Paya Lebar road, Boundary road near Yio Chu Kang stadium and Upper Serangoon at the side road just across Grapevine.
